On the 25th to 27th July, Star Wars Unlimited will be holding their first ever Galactic Championship in Las Vegas. To celebrate, Oxshed Cafe will be hosting their own official Outer Rim Trial event on the 26th of July We will have a variety of events going on throughout the day with prizes given out for not only placement in tournaments, but participation and spirit too.
Learn To Play
Time: 10:00 - 12:00
Entry: Free
Whether you are a seasoned TCG player looking to dip your toes into something new, or a Padawan trying out a card game for the first time, all are welcome. Promos will be given out to attendees and we will have special discounts on starter packs. No need to book. Just pop in to the cafe and let us know you are there to learn.
Star Wars Quiz
Time: 12:00 - 14:00
Entry: £5 per person
Grab a drink and a bite to eat and join us for some Star Wars Movie Trivia. You can come in an existing troop of no more than 4 players, or you can either "Han" solo it or be assigned to the nearest Rebel Alliance. A special Star Wars Hamper will be given to the team with the most points at the end of the Quiz.

Blitz Rush
Time: 14:00 - 17:30
Entry: £10
Blitz is a casual unofficial format of Star Wars Unlimited, where players are given a single booster pack to play a fast paced match against their opponent. Play runs the same as a regular game, with the following exceptions:
No resource penalty for out of aspect cards
If you run out of cards, shuffle your discard pile.
Participation costs £10 and includes your booster pack and a result slip. Players will play 2 rounds of Blitz, best of 1 using the booster they were given. Rounds don’t need to be played at the same time. When a player has completed a round, they can play another as soon as there’s a new player to play against. At the end of each game, a player marks their results slip as a win or loss and has the opponent sign their name.
Prizes awarded based on number of round wins
Players can enter the event multiple times if they desire.
No need to book. Just let us know you want to play on the day.
Premier Tournament
Time: 14:00 - 18:00
Entry: £10 per person
This is a best-of-three Swiss format tournament over 3 rounds, limited to 8 Players.
