After a successful introduction into demands of running a busy café at the nearby Cartshed in Preston Crowmarsh, husband and wife team Milly and Paul began searching for the next exciting project and were approached by the Cholsey Meadows community about an unused space in a converted farm building.  They jumped at the chance, developed the site and opening The Oxshed in late 2019.  Their passion for quality produce and an inclusive, relaxed environment drives how they build their business.

 

The Oxshed is a busy and thriving neighbourhood café, not far from local footpaths and the River Thames.   Customers include hikers, boaters, paddleboarders, dog walkers, families, workers, grandparents, kids and of course locals. 

 

We are working on an exciting extension to the café that will be ready by mid Summer, allowing for more floor space, a new kid’s area and a tranquil private hire space available for hire on weekdays and evenings.
