The wait is finally over, Trainers! The Pokémon universe is about to explode with energy as the legendary Mega Evolutions make their triumphant return in the newest season of Pokémon Mega Evolution. Set to launch globally on September 26, 2025, this season promises jaw-dropping battles, stunning new artwork, and a fresh twist on the classic evolution mechanics that fans have adored for years. Whether you're a seasoned collector, a competitive battler, or just a die-hard fan of Mega Lucario and Mega Gardevoir, this release is packed with surprises that will reignite your passion for the Pokémon TCG and beyond. Whether your just getting started or a seasoned player, this event is fun for everyone and the first chance to try out the new cards before anyone else. This season we will be hosting three prereleases to ensure you don't miss out.
Each player will be given a build and battle box that includes 1 x 40 card ready to play deck and 4 Mega Evolution Boosters to further enhance your deck. Players will have 20 minutes to customise/build their deck before they go head to head in three rounds of swiss format best of one matches.
What do I need to know before attending?
Please bring your Pokemon Player ID. If you have not got one, please register on this site before attending.
Each round last 25 minutes
Games are played with 4 Prize cards rather than the usual 6
Additional prizes/promos awarded on the day for participation and placement
We will not be taking preorders for the new set, but rather offering to those in attendance first, followed by staggered in store purchases throughout the season.
