What do I need to know and bring?

Ensure you or the child you are accompanying has a Pokemon Trainer Central account, and are assigned a Play! Pokemon ID. This is mandatory in order to partake in all Pokemon events. You can create one Here.
(Optional) Download Play! Pokemon Access onto your phone, and make sure you are logged in for quick check-in to the event.
This event is causal, so players of all experience levels are welcome! If you haven't played before, we highly reccomend coming to one of our weekly Pokemon or casual TCG events and trying the game out beforehand.
(Optional) We reccomend using sleeves to keep your cards tidy, but it is not mandatory at a prerelease. If you do use sleeves, ensure they are all the same colour and brand. Other recomended accessories include damage counter dice and a playmat.
 
Here's how the event works:
You will recieve a Build-and-Battle Kit. The kit inlcudes 4 Mega Evolution: Perfect Order Boosters and a 40-card preconstructed deck with one of four promo cards. You can use any cards you get in your packs to improve your preconstructed deck or build something entirely new if you'd like, so long as the deck has exactly 40 cards. We will provide any basic energy you need, but every other card must come from your kit. Trading is strictly prohibited until after the event concludes.
Play 3 rounds with swiss-style pairings (Best of Three.) These rounds will use a 4-Prize format, rather than the typical 6.
Players who complete all 3 rounds will recieve additional booster packs once the event is concluded.
